A little gossip about a FREE book deal never hurts!
Not everyone has read ‘Blackbird Fly.’ I know! It’s a miracle. What have they been waiting for?
Oh, right. A Free deal!
Now’s the time to tell those poor souls that Blackbird Fly is FREE for a few days! Maybe even buy it for your sister, or your mom, or your bestie.
It has a new cover! The paperback also has a new cover and is quite lovely, I think. (Of course I would think that…)

In case you need to tell your giftee what the book is about, here’s a summary:
After her husband’s sudden death, Merle Bennett is left to navigate grief, legal complications, and shocking revelations. As a lawyer with four sisters in the same profession, she thought she was prepared for anything—until she discovered what his will contained.
Among the surprises: a mysterious cottage in France that no one knew existed.
With her son’s future hanging in the balance, Merle has no choice but to take matters into her own hands. With determination and sisterly support, she decides to travel to southwest France and transform the derelict stone cottage.
What awaits her in the picturesque Dordogne village is both enchanting and unsettling—breathtaking landscapes and exquisite wines alongside unpsetting discoveries: an unwelcome squatter, a foreboding wine cellar, hostile locals, and a mysterious deadly accident that raises more questions than answers.
Not to mention a sexy roofer!
Hey, get it for yourself! You deserve it….
Don’t forget… the rest of the series (except the brand new “The Thing About Amanda”) are free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription on Amazon.
Get Kindle Unlimited free for 30 days or $4.99 for 90 days in a limited time offer.
I’m in the depths of “summer-y” Yellowstone National Park this week, shivering along with the tourists. The high today was about 40F, which is almost 30 degrees below normal. Rain fell off and on all day. If only the booth where I was selling books wasn’t right by the big, red, wide open doors, blowing a north wind into the lobby of Old Faithful Inn! Somehow I survived…
Lots of interesting people were chatted up. Some even bought copies of Deadly Yellowstone, the mystery anthology I edited. I discovered there are only so many ways to say: No, it’s fiction. I considered fibbing! I am, after all, a fiction writer/professional liar.
One of the funny things (among many) that happened was a young man who dashed by and spied a book. “Hey, The Bluejay Shaman. I read that!” He rounded the table, widened his eyes as he passed, and declared: “In jail!”
Deadly Yellowstone is now in Kindle Unlimited too…
Stay cool, or warm, wherever you are. These are strange and dangerous times! And I don’t mean just the weather, eh?
